We are delighted to announce that Ms. Mahruba Chowdhury, Senior Manager of the Business Development team at Oculin Tech BD Ltd., has recently embarked on a transformative journey representing our company at two significant events: the SABIT 2023 program and the highly anticipated CleanPower 2023 exhibition.
The SABIT Program, administered by the Department of Commerce, is a prestigious business leader exchange program. It offers industry-specific programs in the United States, where business leaders from Eurasia, South Asia, and Europe are exposed to U.S. best practices through two-week immersive experiences. This program facilitates knowledge sharing between the U.S. private sector, professional associations, educational institutions, and federal, state, and local government agencies.
As a participant in SABIT 2023, Ms. Mahruba had the opportunity to learn from her U.S. counterparts about how the private sector promotes innovation, investment, and economic growth. This valuable experience will enable her to promote and implement reforms that create more business-friendly environments, leveling the playing field for U.S. companies seeking to enter or invest in our market.
Furthermore, Ms. Mahruba also represented Oculin Tech BD Ltd. at the annual conference organized by the American Clean Power Association. This conference featured panels, presentations, workshops, and poster sessions on various aspects of the renewable energy industry, including land-based wind, offshore wind, distributed wind, solar power, storage, and transmission. At the conference, she actively engaged in exhibits highlighting the opportunities and technological applications in Bangladesh, particularly in the field of clean energy. She had the privilege of networking with esteemed organizations such as the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the U.S. Department of Energy, Montgomery County's Office of Energy and Sustainability, Clemson University, and Duke Energy Bad Creek Hydroelectric Station.
At Oculin Tech, we strongly believe in the continuous development of our team and the promotion of technological advancements in Bangladesh. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Mahruba Chowdhury on this exceptional achievement, which serves as an inspiration to many within our organization.
Oculin Tech was one of the few private sector companies that was selected by the US Embassy in Dhaka and the program was sponsored by the US Department of Commerce.
